*UPDATE* my opinion is as follows... At certain ages/stages in life people should be in certain places, have certain things, think a certain way, or it could be the exact opposite of this if you do not wish to conform. You could measure your ages and stages not by what you should have or where you should be in life or what you should have accomplished, but simply by what you shouldn't be doing at this point.
Such as be a 30 year old man wearing still hood and "thugging", living with your mother, no job to speak of, and if your mental state is not that of a 30 year old )-:
